As many of you know, earlier this year my family and I unexpectedly lost one of the sweetest and most beautiful human beings, my brother, Jim. Candidly, I struggle every day to find the will to get up, get dressed, work, even enjoy a meal. My journey has just begun and I have a long road ahead but I am giving myself some help along the way. I have decided to return to one of the many passions I had years ago. Endurance races. I have chosen the Big Sur International Marathon as my backdrop thinking surely the fear of taking on that challenging course will get me out of bed! But while I am helping myself, you know I want to help others which is why I am honored to be fundraising for the Allyson Whiteny Foundation (AWF). The Allyson Whitney Foundation primarily provides young adult cancer patients with ‘Life Interrupted Grants™' to ease their financial burden, so that they can concentrate their energy on healing. Speaking of my own healing, I can't think of a better way than to have your support. Please join me in donating to this wonderful foundation and while doing so, reminding me that I have limitless love to give myself and others, even the midst of tragedy. With love, Heidi
