What this foundation means to us?
As you all know the Allyson Whitney Foundation is very close to our hearts. Allyson was a very good friend of my son, Will, whom we had the pleasure of meeting on many occasions. Allyson lost her battle with Small Cell Cervical Cancer (Rare but There) at the age of 25 on Thanksgiving 2011. She was one of the most kind and giving people we know. During Allyson’s battle she made it her mission to give awareness to these rare cancers. Allyson's dream was to raise money to give grants to others fighting cancer to help make life easier on them. After her passing the Allyson Whitney Foundation was formed to continue her dream.
